VICE PRESIDENT: Dr. Christoph Hyun

Born in Seoul and adopted at age six, Dr. Christoph Hyun transformed his early struggles with Asian identity into profound purpose, earning five degrees including a Ph.D. in Psychology and pioneering work in Asian Self-Awareness. His extensive travels throughout North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia became fundamental to his cultural journey, allowing him to reconnect with his Korean heritage while developing a nuanced understanding of global perspectives that enriches his work. When faced with prostate cancer, Dr. Hyun incorporated this challenge into his understanding of resilience, using his recovery to deepen his approach to psychological well-being and cultural empowerment. This multi-layered personal journey—spanning continents, cultures, and personal health challenges—became the foundation for his life's mission of helping others find pride in their heritage while navigating life's unexpected difficulties with dignity and strength.

As CEO and owner of Hyun Business Management and CB Consulting, Dr. Hyun created a business model that prioritizes supporting the Asian American workforce while achieving remarkable success, his leadership style informed by his experiences navigating both cultural and health challenges. His global perspective, cultivated through immersive travel experiences across three continents, has enabled him to implement culturally intelligent business practices that resonate with diverse communities and clients. His philanthropic work extends to numerous Asian charities, including those focused on health access within Asian American communities. Beyond his professional life, Dr. Hyun embraces spending time with this children, motorcycle riding, golfing, and international travel—continuing to explore European historical sites, and Asian spiritual centers as part of his ongoing personal growth. His extraordinary journey from cross-cultural adoption to global citizen to respected leadership demonstrates how personal difficulties can transform into platforms for positive change, serving as testament that our greatest challenges can become the foundation for our most meaningful contributions to others.
